The four gardens at Wisley in Surrey, Rosemoor in Devon, Hyde Hall in Essex and Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire are truly at the heart of our work, constantly evolving, dynamic and demonstrating a wide range of horticultural techniques, planting styles, and design ideas.
Seasonal highlights and themed events
All four gardens are open throughout the year and play host to a wide variety of garden events, family fun and children’s activities attracting more than one million visitors annually.
Highlights include gardening, wildlife and seasonal events, special features for Easter, Mothering Sunday and Christmas, food fairs and art exhibitions and a huge assortment of family focussed activities held throughout August as ‘Kids Go Free’ at all RHS Gardens.
