The RHS is the UK’s leading gardening charity dedicated to demonstrating excellence in horticulture and promoting gardening.
We believe that gardening enriches people’s lives. We want to share the benefits and knowledge of growing plants to gardeners of all ages.
How we are funded
We receive no government funding. For every £1 received from members' subscriptions, we need to raise more than twice as much again to fund our charitable activities.
We rely on donations and sponsorship to supplement income from our garden operations, flower shows, shops and plant centres.
Your support
With your support we can continue to maintain and grow our gardens for you to enjoy. We can continue to share our passion for plants and inspire all those with an interest in gardening.

Leave us a legacy
Like a garden, the RHS requires sustained care and only continues to thrive because of the support of its members. Leaving a legacy to the RHS provides the Society with a major source of income.
