New RHS Images Collection
For the first time, more than 45, 000 garden-related images from the unique collections of the Royal Horticultural Society are available for commercial license, through the new RHS Images Collection.
The online collection allows quick and easy access to illustrations and photographs across a range of popular garden themes.
James Arnold, RHS Licensing Manager, says: 'The RHS has access to an incredible body of gardening illustrations and photography. Our historical collections span almost 500 years of gardening, and we are adding to the archive all the time with some amazing contemporary garden photography.'
The collection covers a hugely diverse range of subjects within gardening, from practical gardening through to the personalities within them - see below for examples:
Lindley Library images
A range of historical gardening illustrations dating from the 1630s from the world renowned Lindley Library will be accessible.
Advisory images
Numerous practical gardening images demonstrate garden tasks and techniques throughout the year.
Plant portraits
View the wide range of portraits of rare and unusual plant cultivars, from bulbs and annuals to trees and shrubs.
Gardening scenes
The range of gardening scenes images include shots taken from the four RHS Gardens and RHS shows.
