Carnation and Pinks Sub-committee

Jointly constituted with the British National Carnation Society, theSub-committee is responsible for judging carnations and pinks at RHS flower shows, and for selecting and assessing plants for trial.

Chrysanthemum Sub-committee

The Sub-committee is responsible for selecting chrysanthemum plants for trial and assessment for the Award of Garden Merit, and for recommending awards to cut chrysanthemum flowers submitted to it.

Dahlia Sub-committee

Herbaceous Plant Committee (previously Floral A)

The Committee judges all exhibits at RHS flower shows of hardy herbaceous and tender perennials and annuals for garden cultivation, along with selection and judging of plants for trial and assessment.

Iris Sub-committee

Rock Garden Plant Committee

The Committee is jointly constituted with the Alpine Garden Society and Scottish Rock Garden Club and judges individual rock garden and alpine house plant exhibits at RHS flower shows; other exhibits are judged by an associated committee. Woody Plant Committee (previously Floral B)

The Committee is the source of expertise, and judges for RHS flower shows, for hardy trees and shrubs, including old hybrid and species roses. Along with the Rhododendron and Camellia Sub-committee it selects and judges woody ornamental plants for trial and assessment.
