Whichford Pottery

Jim Keeling, the design force at Whichford Pottery, was given unfettered access to the resources of the RHS’s superb art collection in the Lindley Library, London. The results offer something for everyone - simple or inlaid, tiny or grand.

The Wisley Gardener’s Pan Traditional seedpans were developed by the Victorians for shallow-rooted plants. They are also good for alpine plants, small bulbs and succulents. Available in five sizes.

	The Wisley Gardener’s Pot The all-time favourite, eminently sensible flower pot, with a coloured rope pattern roulette top and bottom to add a dash of modern class. Available in four sizes.
	The Wisley Apple Tree Pot Ideal for your windowsill. Embossed with the RHS tree logo and covered in a rich green glaze. In three sizes and saucers available.
	The RHS Jekyll Flower Pot A beautiful pen and ink drawing of an old lace design from Gertrude Jekyll’s sketchbook was the inspiration for this pot. A special way of inlaying this intricate pattern, using a series of hand-cut plaster stamps, was developed to produce a really sumptuous decoration. Available in three sizes.
	RHS Bicentenary Urn These magnificent 17th century style urns are made exclusively by Jim Keeling. Similar designs are illustrated in the charming woodcuts of Io. Baptistae Ferrarius’ Hesperides published in Rome in 1646.
