A beautiful pen and ink drawing of an old lace design from Gertrude Jekyll’s sketchbook was the inspiration for this pot. A special way of inlaying this intricate pattern, using a series of hand-cut plaster stamps, was developed to produce a really sumptuous decoration. Available in three sizes.

These magnificent 17th century style urns are made exclusively by Jim Keeling. Similar designs are illustrated in the charming woodcuts of Io. Baptistae Ferrarius’ Hesperides published in Rome in 1646.
