Royal Horticultural Society Bicentenary Sundial

RHS Enterprises has worked with Spot-On Sundials to produce an exclusive high quality brass sundial that incorporates the ‘line of light’ at every noontime. The sundial prominently features the RHS bicentenary logo '200 years' to celebrate the Society's founding in 1804.

The dial plate is 25cm (10in) in diameter on a baseplate that is 27cm (10.5in) square. The baseplate can be securely fastened to a plinth or other horizontal mounting surface. For about five minutes at noontime, a line of light shines between the two plates of the gnomon allowing the dial to be aligned 'spot-on' true north, so that it will always tell the correct time. The dial has two set of numerals to tell the time: Arabic to tell summertime and Roman to tell wintertime.
