The RHS licensing programme

Operated by the Licensing Team at RHS Enterprises Limited, the programme was started some 15 years ago with the enduring collection of fine bone china featuring the exquisite paintings of fruit by eminent horticulturist and artist, William Hooker.

RHS Licensing is now a highly professional operation which continues to grow through a carefully designed strategy whereby companies are allowed to use the RHS Art Collection and prized RHS Brand under licence in return for royalty payments which benefit the Society.

Operating at the cutting edge of 21st Century retailing, the RHS Licensing team brings a wealth of expertise to the programme. We have many years’ experience in business management, retailing, design, product development, marketing, press and PR.

We like to work with market leaders who share our standards of good business practice producing goods of the best possible quality and design thus reflecting the ‘excellence’ for which the RHS is renowned the world over.

Business plans are evaluated and put into practice using our Standard Contract backed by our Intellectual Property Lawyers and Trade Mark Agents.

The lindley library

Having completed the wonderful refurbishment of the Lindley Library, we are keen to share the resources of the RHS Art Collection with a wider audience. Through our Licensing Programme, the team at RHS Enterprises work with companies - often market leaders - who are licensed under contract to use our name and our works in return for royalty income.
