Welcome to the RHS Spring Flower Show, Cardiff
The dates for the 2007 show are 20-22 April 2007; ticket and other information will be available as soon as we have it.
Set in Bute Park, against the magnificent backdrop of Cardiff Castle, the RHS Spring Flower Show, Cardiff once again marked the beginning of the Royal Horticultural Society’s flower show season. With expert nurserymen from Wales, the rest of the UK and beyond, the show provided visitors with a great opportunity to see horticulture at its finest.
The showground was filled with a feast of horticultural highlights, including show feature gardens designed by Welsh societies, colleges and designers, spectacular displays of bedding plants by Welsh Local Authorities and a host of sundries exhibitors with hundreds of gardening gifts and accessories to tempt every budding gardener.
The show’s two floral marquees were bursting with colour and fragrance from the blooms of more than 50 of the UK’s finest nurseries whose displays were judged for coveted RHS medals.
Throughout the show, visitors had the chance to buy an array of plants directly from the nurserymen who grow them, and stroll round the sundries stands, as well as the opportunity to take advantage of the full programme of talks and demonstrations, making the RHS Spring Flower Show, Cardiff a ‘must-see’ Easter treat for gardeners of all ages.
