This award was established to fund groups and individuals undertaking the exploration of plants.
Aim
The award was established in 1993 from a bequest made to the Society by Neville Valentine. It aims to provide financial support for plant exploration or plant study expeditions in any part of the world.
General conditions of application
- Proposals may be made by individuals or groups.
- Application is open to United Kingdom and Ireland nationals and foreign nationals resident in the United Kingdom and Ireland, subject to the detailed conditions of applications.
