Andrew Cotterill - Master of Horticulture
Currently employed as Gardens Manager for City Escapes LLP, where he is in charge of mobile gardening teams fulfilling contracts for scheduled quality garden maintenance, Andrew was first inspired to pursue horticulture as a career by his grandfather, Geoffrey Cotterill, a professional gardener.
Andrew, 45 and married with three children, studied amenity horticulture full time at Warwickshire College and Askham Bryan College.
He has clocked up more than 20 years in management and supervisory roles, including Head Gardener for Tonbridge School and Head of Gardens and Grounds at Benenden School in Kent, where he managed a Grade II listed park and garden, producing and maintaining playing surfaces up to junior international level.
He is a specialist in horticultural rabbit management and describes himself as a general practitioner in amenity horticulture. Outside of work he enjoys sport and coin collecting.
Andrew enrolled on the Master of Horticulture course at Hadlow College because he enjoys a challenge. An ambitious man, he is keen to further his career in a role he can get his teeth into.
