RHS qualifications in the QCF

As part of the Government reform of qualifications, a new structure has been introduced called the Qualifications and Credit Framework or QCF. This structure means we can offer greater choice and flexibility to all our learners. You are able to obtain recognition for qualifications, as well as recognition for any of the units you complete in the form of credits.

RHS Level 3 qualifications

These qualifications not only offer opportunities for employment, but also expands on the work achieved at Level 2.

RHS Level 3 Practical-based qualification

• RHS Level 3 Certificate in Practical Horticulture (15 Credits)

 RHS Level 3 theory-based qualifications

• RHS Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Health and Applied Propagation (15 Credits)
  
• RHS Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Garden Planning, Construction and Planting (15 Credits)

Learners who successfully complete all the necessary units for every one of the level 3 qualifications listed above, will gain the Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture (total 45 credits, which equates to 450 learning hours).
