Insurance for RHS Affiliated Societies
One of the benefits of RHS Affiliated Society membership is the option to purchase insurance cover at highly competitive rates.
As an RHS Affiliated Society you can apply for:
Employers’ & Public Liability
- Employers’ & Public Liability (Indemnity limit £5m): £70
- Employers’ & Public Liability (Indemnity limit £10m): £86
(Both policies have a £10m indemnity limit for Employers Liability)
Sheds, Equipment, Cups & Trophies
- Sheds, Equipment, Cups and Trophies (Indemnity limit £5k): £65
- Sheds, Equipment, Cups and Trophies (Indemnity limit £10k): £95
- Sheds, Equipment, Cups and Trophies (Indemnity limit £20K): £125
All group insurance policies run for 12 months from 1 February 2013 - 31 January 2014. There are no pro-rata premiums, cover can be purchased at any time throughout the year but the full premium will be incurred.

Your group needs to be an RHS Affiliated Society to take advantage of these rates. Download the RHS Affiliated Society membership form (199kB pdf).
If your club or society is already affiliated and would like to apply for insurance, please complete and return both the RHS application form and the appropriate NFU Mutual application form(s) along with your payment.
Please note
The premiums shown on the NFU Mutual application forms exclude a small administration fee. Full premiums are listed above and on the RHS application form.
Please ensure to sign and date both sides of the NFU Mutual application forms.
All completed paperwork and premiums should be returned to the RHS at the address shown on the RHS application form.
Please be advised that although we endeavour to get certificates to you as quickly as possible, it can take up to 28 days to receive insurance certificates for new policies.
