- Summary
- Eaton Rise Residents' Association, Norwich is planning a morning of planting 420 Woodland Trust whips along with 8,000 crocus bulbs and 1,000 native bluebells donated by Norwich in Bloom. It is all part of a conservation scheme to restore and conserve an ancient hedge which has been dated at over 200 years old. This year the resident volunteers are working on 235 metres of the hedge which is over 580 metres long, as Phase 3 of the scheme. The hedge is a valuable asset to wildlife and residents alike and also a wonderful green gateway into the city of Norwich. On the day residents will be out in force to complete the planting and there will be an overall feeling of the community coming together for this good cause.
