Fruit and vegetable beds
I have been working at Rosemoor for over 20 years now; starting soon after the garden was gifted to the RHS by Lady Anne Palmer – so you could say that I know the growing conditions of the site quite well!
I spent my early years in the formal gardens, then, once we had built the Fruit and Vegetable Garden (which has always been my main interest), I stayed with it and have been there ever since – some 15 years now! The Fruit and Vegetable Garden has grown and evolved over the years to become a very popular part of Rosemoor and one of my main aims is to try to provide information and inspiration to those new to growing as well as the more experienced growers.
I manage the Fruit and Vegetable Gardens (including the Potager) with Garry and one of our regular intakes of three students, not forgetting the invaluable help from our regular volunteers.
