New library now open
Our new modern Blundell Library, part of the inspiring new Bramall Learning Centre, officially opened in June.
Part of the world famous Lindley Library, the new library offers a welcoming space full of ideas and information. With online resources, children’s books and a few treasures of its own, it has an enquiry service for all visitors and lends to RHS members.
Harlow Carr Garden Library Collection
Harlow Carr Garden Library holds a collection of the best modern books on gardening, and selected garden magazines.
Forming an important horticultural collection within the region, it covers practical gardening, garden design, garden history, wildlife gardening and much more. The library’s collection of books, DVDs and journals form part of the RHS Lindley Library.
The library lends to RHS Members, and is open to all garden visitors for reference. The Library provides comfortable facilities for browsing the stock for ideas, relaxing with the latest gardening magazines, or as a first stop for more detailed research. Visitors also use the collection to help them find the answer to an enquiry, on topics such as plant details, pruning and propagation information, garden history and design. If a Library enquiry is more complex and cannot be answered at Harlow Carr Garden Library, it is passed to the Wisley Library Enquiry Service.
