The Friends of Harlow Carr was founded in 2001 and aims to provide a focus of interest for RHS members who would like more involvement with the Garden.
Since 2003, the Friends have organised a series of exclusive, special interest visits accompanied by members of RHS curatorial staff to areas including the Gardens Through Time, Alpine House and newly opened Bramall Learning Centre.
There have also been visits to other gardens further afield including RHS Garden Wisley and Highgrove House, family home of the Prince of Wales.
As well as all of this, the Friends organise general interest group tours for visiting parties, and weekly garden walks giving a fascinating insight into the history of Harlow Carr, for guests throughout the summer.
