Refreshments at Hyde Hall

The Barn Restaurant
The Barn Restaurant, in Hyde Hall's Hilltop Garden, is an old thatched barn full of rural charm, with an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. There is a wide variety of cooked meals and snacks made on the premises, using local produce where possible. Customer favourites include hearty soups, scrumptious cakes and Hyde Hall Pie. The restaurant is fully licensed, also serving soft drinks, teas and coffees. A sheltered tea garden provides a sunny outdoor dining area on warmer days.
Special Diets
Whenever you visit, there will always be hot and cold options suitable for vegetarians and those on a gluten-free diet. Some of our cakes are also suitable for diabetics. However, if you are unsure, simply ask a member of staff who will be happy to advise.
The Field Café
In the light, airy and spacious café you will find speciality teas and coffees and a sumptuous range of cakes. There are also paninis, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and soup. Alfresco dining is available in the landscaped courtyard.
To accommodate early visitors, The Field Café is now serving breakfast from 9.30am to 11am. Items to tempt you include breakfast baps and bagels.
Please note that all food and drink is served in fully biodegradable packaging which helps to reduce landfill and its associated costs. Our cutlery is made from cornstarch which is also biodegradable.
