Two RHS Partner Gardens - Ragley Hall in Warwickshire and The Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire - are celebrating National Gardening Week with special open days.
The Trentham Estate - 16 April
Visit on this special day (11am-3pm) when Tom Stuart-Smith, designer of the Italian Gardens, will be leading a short talk and tour (12pm and 2pm). This is a rare chance to hear directly from Tom about the ideas and inspiration behind these iconic plantings. RHS Herbaceous Plant Committee members and grasses experts, Neil Lucas and Mary Thorp, plus Trentham's own garden team, will also be on hand to answer your gardening questions. Don't forget to enter the prize draw for your chance to win a signed copy of The Timber Press Encyclopaedia of Flowering Shrubs, by RHS Director of Horticulture Jim Gardiner.
