Join in our garden party celebrations

You are cordially invited to RHS Garden Wisley’s annual Garden Party. Join us on Surrey’s favourite lawn, Seven Acres, for a weekend of fun and festivities! All activities free with normal garden entry (excl. afternoon teas).
Here's a taste of what's on:
Swing dancing
Join in with easy-to-learn routines or just watch as our swing dancers take to the floor and wow you with their fast paced routines.
Dance programme:
10 – 10.20am: Simple foxtrot (adults only)
11 – 11.20am: Fun Big Apple dance (all ages)
12 – 12.20pm: A taste of Balboa (adults only)
1.30 – 1.50pm: Learn to jitterbug Jive (adults only)
2.30 – 2.50pm: Fun Big Apple dance (all ages)
3.30 – 3.50pm: Learn to stroll like it is 1950! (adults only)
4.30 – 4.50pm: More jive steps! (adults only)
Live music
Sit back and relax to the sound of live music (The Nightingales on Saturday and Jackson Sloan on Sunday) as you while away a summer’s afternoon in the garden.
Vintage makeovers
Embrace vintage chic at our drop-in booth, with hair and make-up makeovers. Why not visit our vintage hat sale or watch the professionals in action during our mini hat-making demonstrations.
Vintage tractor and model boat display
Come and look at our amazing vintage tractor collection from a bygone era, or head down to the Glasshouse Lake to see maritime life in miniature with our model boat display. You can also enjoy trailer rides in our Arboretum.
Garden games
Challenge the family to croquet or have a go on our coconut shy (11am – 1pm & 2 – 4pm) on Seven Acres lawn.
Punch and Judy shows
A garden party wouldn't be complete without Punch and Judy! Perfect for both adults and children, this comedy double-act is still a firm favourite.
Performances at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3pm
Afternoon tea
Feeling decadent? Then why not treat yourself to an afternoon tea. With finger sandwiches, scones, cake and a pot of tea you’ll be in for a real treat. Call 0208 341 5384 to book.
