Seed planting with Little Sutton Primary

Mrs Rowbotham of Little Sutton Primary School took advantage of last year's Seed Distribution Scheme to get all the children involved in planting. Here's what she had to say.

'Each class was provided with a barrel planter and groups of children learnt how to prepare the planter. Other children sowed the seeds. As we are developing a school garden, we positioned the planters around the garden area and around school so children could be responsible for watering. We took photographs of the children working. The children learnt a lot about seeds and are watching them grow.'
