A Sensory Sensation Key stage 1

A programme of sensory awareness games and activities aimed at helping children to use and appreciate each of their senses. A hands-on approach to exploring the senses through the garden.

All About Plants Key stage 1 and 2

Three programmes of study which look at the diversity of plants, their life cycles and what they need in order to grow well.

Habitats and Adaptation Key stage 2

Hyde Hall offers the opportunity to explore a wide variety of habitats from ponds to meadows, each containing a diverse range of plants and creatures.

Art in the Garden Key stage 1 and 2

The day consists of a range of activities that draw on the garden for both inspiration and as a resource. Activities will be adapted to match the age of the children and particular focus of the visit.

SATs Revision Day - Key stage 2

Each session (10am - 2.30pm) covers Rocks & Soils, Plant life Cycles and Interdependence & Adaptation.
