Lindley Library, Wisley
The library at RHS Garden Wisley holds significant collections on practical gardening, garden history and design, and fruit and vegetable gardening. It also includes the Wisley Science Library - the RHS staff and scientific library in the Wisley Laboratory.
You will need to register the first time you use the Research Collections at Wisley. RHS Members will need to bring their RHS membership card. Non-members will need to provide two forms of identification.

Joyce Stewart book sale - 18 October
RHS Garden Library Wisley
Joyce Stewart VMH was a leading figure in the world of horticulture. She was a much-loved and respected RHS Director of Horticulture from 1995-2003, and a world authority on orchids. Joyce generously bequeathed her specialist orchid and general horticultural books to the RHS Lindley Library. In order to maximise her gift, a sale of titles not added to the Library collections begins at 11am on 18 October 2011.
Proceeds from the sale will fund a piece of orchid artwork in Joyce’s honour and help establish a gallery to house our 7,000 orchid portraits which will improve public access to our botanical art collections.
