Members must have a valid membership card with them to gain free entry to gardens. Members and their guest(s) that do not have a valid entry card with them will be asked to pay the entry fee.

Membership cards are valid only if subscription fees are fully paid up to date.

The Garden magazine is dispatched on a monthly basis and should arrive during the first week of the month of publication (copies sent overseas arrive later).

Membership benefits may be changed subject to the agreement of the RHS Council.

The Members' Handbook is published annually and is subject to change. Please check before acting upon information contained in the Handbook.

The RHS reserves the right to reject applications for membership or renewal.

AGM admittance is limited to members who have a valid membership card.

Where possible, changes to benefits will be published in The Garden magazine.

To enable the RHS to provide standard membership benefits such as The Garden magazine and the provision of membership cards and information about RHS events and products, members' names and addresses are passed to carefully selected and audited suppliers for processing purposes only.

The RHS will not pass on your details to anyone for marketing purposes without obtaining your consent, with the exclusion of clause 9.

Membership of the RHS is non-transferable.
