Prince's eco garden party
6 September 2010
The longest Royal Garden Party in history continues until Saturday, September 19, in the gardens of Lancaster House, Clarence House and Marlborough House.
The aim of the The Prince of Wales’ 12-day London eco-festival is to make ‘green stuff’ fun, so visitors on entering Lancaster House Garden will come face to face with a vast Earth Pavilion made with mud tiles, and sustainable materials, as well as an array of giant, colourful installations, and the opportunity to interact and take part in a wide range of workshops.
In addition a daily entertainment programme of debates, music and comedy has been organised, with participants donating their services to ‘Start’.
