If there is one thing that binds gardeners together, it’s an abiding love and passion for plants. It is the one topic of conversation I find breaks the ice when gardeners meet for the first time, be it in a nursery or garden. Gardeners are often the most generous of folk, keen to give advice about how best to grow certain plants, and frequently swap cherished specimens with others. With the rose season on the horizon, we look at growing these much-loved plants in containers and profile a few suggestions. This is not something that seems to be commonly practised, so if you have any pictures, ideas or experiences to share with others, do let us know.
