Volume 136

Part 2

February - includes extra content from Christopher Bailes

This month, just as the frantic springtime seed-sowing starts up once again, Spence Gunn focuses our attention on some of the new plant pots with ‘greener’ credentials. Some are by-products from other industries, and some are intentionally designed to feed a growing market wishing for more sustainable practices.

In a similar manner to the food industry, which has taken steps to reduce its packaging, I am sure that the horticultural world will adopt a more environmentally sensitive approach to the pots it uses and sells.
