This month is a turning point. At last, colour floods back into the garden, with spring bulbs, early-flowering shrubs and small alpines bursting into flower.
Much of this season’s colour comes from the beauty and detail in individual flowers – and this issue celebrates two different spring plants that have been in our horticultural history for years: anemones and daffodils.
