Seed scheme for members 2013

The closing date for this year’s seed application has now passed. The Seed Team have been sending orders out since January. If, for any reason, you have not received your seed by 30 April 2013 please contact the Membership department (details below).
The new list will be available online again from 1st November 2013 at www.rhs.org.uk/seedlist.
Any Members wishing to receive the next edition of the seed list can register at any time by contacting the Membership department.

More information about the scheme
The Seed Distribution Scheme is available exclusively to members of the RHS. Members can order up to 20 packets of seed which have been harvested from all four RHS gardens, Wisley in Surrey, Hyde Hall in Essex, Harlow Carr in Yorkshire and Rosemoor in Devon. At present seed can only be sent to addresses in the UK and EU including Croatia, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
Throughout the year, at RHS gardens, seed is gathered from hundreds of different plant varieties. The Seed Team at Wisley then dries, cleans and packs all the seeds ready for dispatch between January and April.
The RHS is dedicated to promoting excellence in horticulture and providing expert gardening advice. RHS gardens are committed to cultivating a wide range of plants to the highest standard, so that you can be assured of a good selection to choose from.
Access to this diversity of seeds from plants cultivated by experts is a great benefit for RHS members, and the Seed Distribution Scheme makes ordering seeds for your garden simple and straightforward.
To take advantage of the seed scheme there is a charge of £12.
This charge contributes to the postage and packing of seeds, and towards the cost of running and staffing the Seed Team at RHS Garden Wisley.
