We join the coach and make our way to the RHS garden Wisley, the Society’s flagship garden in Surrey. The peaceful surroundings of Wisley cover more than 240 acres and include a wealth of garden types to discover, from the beautiful rose gardens and woodland gardens to the demonstration gardens offering ideas on design, innovation and cultivation techniques.
A more recent addition is the state-of-the-art Glasshouse. Built to celebrate the RHS bicentenary, it is divided into three main planting zones representing desert, tropical and temperate climates.
The sheer diversity and size of Wisley means there’s plenty for us to enjoy and why it remains one of Britain’s best-loved gardens.
After a relaxing afternoon here, we head to our hotel.
Saturday - RHS Chelsea Flower Show
We spend a full day enjoying the buzz of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the Royal Horticultural Society’s most iconic event, celebrating its centenary year. Enjoy the finest in garden design and superb expert advice and be a part of this vibrant celebration of all things horticultural.
So where do we start? The Grand Pavilion is the focal point of the show, containing a wide-ranging mix of floral displays. The Show Gardens incorporate tranquil water features, sculptures and carefully cultivated floral arrangements making them an annual highlight of the show.
With so many exciting exhibits to see, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is an amazing day out for everyone.

After checking out of our hotel, we spend some time at a National Trust property before heading home.
