Welcome

 Welcome to RHS garden holidays

For those of us who are passionate about gardening, what better way to take our interest to a new level than by exploring the horticulture in the world around us, in the company of like-minded enthusiasts and combining this with a wonderful holiday.

My own love for gardening is on a par with my lifelong passion for travel and, having spent many years in the travel business before I joined the RHS, it gives me particular pleasure to introduce you to our exciting new range of RHS Garden Holidays. As you know, one of our watchwords at the Royal Horticultural Society is ‘Sharing the Best in Gardening’ and with these RHS Garden Holidays – we can now share just a little bit further afield as well offering breaks featuring our RHS Gardens, RHS Partner Gardens and RHS Flower Shows.

Offering a selection of carefully designed escorted tours to destinations around the world, all of which have a horticultural slant, RHS Garden Holidays have been created to offer our members a choice of fantastic holidays that should inspire all from the greenest of gardeners to the more experienced horticulturists among you.

To develop these RHS Garden Holidays, we have combined our own expertise with some select travel specialists, to ensure that we offer the best experience for you of the particular destinations. Collette Worldwide Holidays is a superb family owned and operated company, who have been creating exciting worldwide holidays since 1918, while Wendy Wu are the acknowledged experts for China, with more than 20 years experience.

For our China itineraries, we have also consulted extensively with Vice President, plantsman and expert on China, Roy Lancaster OBE VMH and also tapped into the expertise of Director of Horticulture Jim Gardiner. For those lucky enough to travel on the Plant Seekers tour, this will be led by none other than Roy and Jim themselves!

For 2013, we have also expanded our selection of UK breaks, in association with Just Go! Holidays, that visit our own and partner gardens as well as a number of shows all designed to bring horticulture to life.

We hope that you are inspired to travel with us on one of these holidays, to bring you together with people who are as enthusiastic about horticulture and gardening as we are.
