RHS member John Lomax from Milnthorpe in Cumbria is the winner of a brand new car, as part of a summer competition run by the RHS.
To celebrate RHS Garden Rosemoor's 21st anniversary, the RHS ran a fun competition to win the 'key to the door' of a brand new Renault Modus. During the summer, adventure trails took place at each of the four RHS Gardens with thousands of visitors participating.
One winner was picked from the correct entries at each RHS Garden; and they were invited to take part in a grand finale held at RHS Garden Rosemoor on the August bank holiday weekend. After a series of challenges the group were served a generous lunch by the Rosemoor catering team.
After much anticipation one of the two finalists, RHS member John Lomax, picked the key from the flower pot which opened the Renault Modus on display. Mr Lomax and runners up all left with a trug full of useful gardening sundries - so no one went away empty handed.
Mr Lomax commented that on the 'warmth, generosity of spirit, exceptional hospitality and detailed thoughtful planning that the RHS had evidently invested in the event'.
