This garden aims to raise awareness of overactive bladder (OAB). The key symptom of OAB is urgency - the sudden, compelling need to relieve the bladder, which is difficult to put off. This may be accompanied by incontinence and the need to visit the toilet too often during day and night. OAB is not inevitable and people who experience symptoms can seek help.
A winding path inset with glass tiles leads to a giant pink tap that appears to be suspended in mid-air, echoing the urgency and frustration of being unable to control OAB. Water cascades from the tap into a pool, which is surrounded by plants in shades of pink, silver and blue.
