Opening times

Hampton Court Palace Flower Show Exclusive Preview Evening will be held on Monday 2 July, 2012. The Preview Evening will open at 5:30pm and will close at 10:30pm.

Outdoor exhibitors are asked to remain open until 7.30pm*. The Floral Marquees and the Country Living Magazine Pavilion will close at 9.30pm. To make the most of your evening we recommend that you view the exhibits and gardens early on, before settling down to your picnic/meal.

*Although the majority of exhibitors are pleased to remain open until 7.30pm as requested, we regret that we cannot guarantee that all exhibitors will man their exhibits on the Preview Evening.

Food and drink

If you do not wish to pre-book a picnic or restaurant, other facilities will be serving a range of hot/cold drinks and light snacks.

If you wish, you may bring your own picnic and beverages to the event.

Tickets

We will send your ticket(s) by Royal Mail first class post one month prior to the event. Enclosed with your ticket(s) will be a map of the showground, which will list the timings and locations of the entertainment, and Show Catalogue and Souvenir Brochure voucher(s).

Raffle

There will be wonderful opportunities to win fantastic prizes.

If you would like to help us raise further funds for the RHS on the evening, and have the chance to win one of a number of fantastic prizes, please look out for the raffle sellers who will be wearing bright pink sashes on the evening.

Volunteers will be selling raffle tickets throughout the showground until 9.15pm. Tickets are available for £5 each, and can only be paid for in cash.

In 2011, prizes included a weekend for two at a London hotel, a case of Champagne and the finest beauty products. Prizes will be available to collect from the Kings Food Market until 9.30pm.

The showground

Please note that this is a temporary outdoor event on open parkland and is subject to varying weather and ground conditions. Although some temporary trackway is laid, the event is on open ground and care must be taken. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on ground conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. In extreme weather conditions, access may be restricted in the interest of safety.

Inclement weather

Under cover seating is available in the Kings Food Market. In the event of inclement weather, Floral Marquees will stay open until 10.30pm. Please note complimentary ponchos will not be distributed in the event of wet weather.

Under 18s

Please note that no under 18s are admitted to the Preview Evening.

Animals

Please note that no animals are admitted to the Preview Evening except for registered guide and assistance dogs. Pet dogs are not permitted in any of our showgrounds. Please do not leave dogs unattended in parked cars.
