T3 Plants (MFM26)- This abutilon is multi-stemmed giving it an attractive, bushy habit. Its flowers are pleasantly blush-pink and many buds form from one stem producing delicate, bell-like flowers. They are hardy in non-windy sites. Cutting hard back after flowering promotes more stems.

Southfields Nursery (MFM1) - This compact cactus throws out lovely buds that open into glorious yellow blooms. Grow in a sunny spot for this lovely variety to thrive, and pot on into a larger pot once it finishes blooming.

Hosta 'Catherine' of Brookfield Plants (MFM61) comes into its own when its leaves unfurl revealing blue, blushed leaves with a central yellow stripe. Growing to a height of 45cm (18in), this medium-size hosta has thick leaves that act as a deterrent to slugs.

This new variety from Orchids by Peter White (MFM10), has lovely stripes on many flowers produced on a single stem. Like other moth orchids, they thrive in light humid conditions away from direct sunlight. It makes a beautiful addition to any light bathroom.
