Boathouse No.9
This design recreates the garden around an old boathouse that has seen better days. During the past year, Mark Eveleigh has been working on HMS Victory and HMS Warrior in Portsmouth’s historic dockyard, and spending time with these old ships has inspired him to design and build this boat-themed garden.
The boathouse has been created from an old gardener's shed that has stood overlooking the River Severn for at least 65 years. The pool has become a haven for wildlife and is quietly reclaiming the old boat; in fact, the entire garden is gradually being reclaimed by nature.
