All catering facilities are fully accessible, with the exception of Rock Bank Restaurant, Seafood & Champagne Restaurant and Thames View Food Court.
Visitors unable to access Rock Bank Restaurant can pre-book a table at the Ranelagh Bistro, where they will be offered the Bistro or Seafood Restaurant menus. Call 0844 209 1810 to make a booking.
Visitors unable to access the Seafood & Champagne Restaurant can be accommodated in the Ranelagh Bistro where, on request, they will be offered the Seafood menu.
Visitors who cannot access Thames View Food Court can find similar menus at Rock Bank and Ranelagh Food Courts. The nearby Western Avenue and Creek Gate Food Courts are accessible and offer a wide range of food and drink. Creek Gate Food Court has a covered seating area with wide-spaced seating, where wheelchair users take priority.
Exhibits and gardens
All marquees are accessible, and all gardens and floral exhibits can be viewed from ground level, but none are designed for public access. Where possible, gardens are fronted by hard surface pavement, road or trackway. Please note, however, that the areas around the gardens are often busy; disabled visitors may wish to consider arriving early or late in the day to avoid peak times.
Assistance dogs are welcomed in all areas.
Attendants cannot be provided but one companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or other person whose disability necessitates a carer.
Parking is available in Battersea Park as detailed under Parking above. Buses with wheelchair access run regularly to and from the show. Visitors requiring the mobility bus should advise the parking stewards on arrival at Battersea Park.
Wheelchairs are available for loan, but must be reserved in advance.
For information on wheelchair bookings, call 0845 260 7000. The closing date for bookings is 21 May 2010.
