This is a concept garden designed to show how nature provides renewable energy that can be captured to heat our homes. The materials used have been chosen to represent the four elements of earth, air, fire and water, and demonstrate that a beautiful and interactive garden space can also work to store and release solar energy.

Key plants include Iris sibirica ‘Shirley Pope’, representing the flow of free energy from the garden to the home, Euphorbia x pasteurii ‘Roundway Titan’, Calamagrostis × acutiflora ‘Karl Foerster’ and Hakonechloa macra.
