Having graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2005 with a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art, Cathy Hart currently works within a community of professional artists in Peckham. Cathy creates original galvanised sculpture from mild steel. Her welded creatures resemble scaled-up birds, butterflies, deer and dogs. In a culture where everything is about complexity, Cathy’s series of work focuses on simplicity. Products on display include five or six big birds (elongated, adult sized) on a metal platform, small dogs, butterflies and a stage deer.
