Garden and Wood sells antique garden tools, painted garden furniture and garden ephemera. Many of the items that they sell have been restored by hand in their workshop. This workshop is based in a third-of-an-acre garden in the beautiful village of Little Haseley, where their thatched cottage and productive garden act as a perfect backdrop for people visiting to buy old garden tools.
Last year Alan Titchmarsh featured one of their restored tools as his favourite purchase at RHS Chelsea on the BBC’s coverage of the show. Among the more unusual items on display this year are a pair of Edwardian glass cloches from 1910 made of copper and a collection of old RHS Chelsea Flower Show programmes ranging from the 1940s to the 1990s.
