Poterie Le Chene Vert produces terracotta glazed urns and vases made in Anduze, France, using traditional craftsmanship. They are made using the rope cord method - à la corde - or by using moulds into which the wet terracotta clay is placed and hand turned before applying the decorative designs. The highly skilled potters have taken years to learn their craft. There are some new and exciting designs using unusual and unique glaze finishes. Poterie Le Chene Vert produce contemporary vase shapes as well as the classic Anduze vases and Anduze cup designs. Their vases can be seen today in the gardens of Versailles near Paris.
