Sitting Spiritually specialises in high quality, handcrafted, bespoke wooden swing seats and rope swings. Each seat is handcrafted from scratch using only locally sourced materials. The wood used comes from an FSC certified chain of custody and eco-friendly Farrow & Ball paints are used for the painted frames. Each seat is made to order by team of local artisans in Dorset. Sitting Spiritually Ltd is owned and run by award-winning eco-carpenter Martin Young, who established the business in 2004. The Love Swing Seat is new for 2012. Each seat is slightly wider than the norm for added comfort, and the springs allow for a gentle and relaxing swinging movement.
