The garden is inspired by the work carried out by WaterAid and the transformation that clean water brings. Designed around the WaterAid symbol of a water droplet, the garden takes us on a life-enhancing journey.

The journey begins with a water pump in an arid place and extends through waves of planting featuring grasses and flowers, concluding with sustainable agriculture. At the far corner of the garden, a simple hut with a thatched conical roof houses a composting latrine.

A path of stepping stones linking the pump to the hut symbolises the journey and transformative power of WaterAid’s work.
