Birmingham City Council’s 2012 floral display encompasses everything that is iconic about Birmingham, from its well-known city landmarks such as the town hall, Rotunda, Selfridges, jewellery quarter and the canals which converge in the city centre, to its manufacturing heritage, including the Mini which was first produced at Longbridge.
The plants used include poinsettias, pandanus, bamboos, ferns, celosias, agapanthus and saintpaulia. Beautiful plants and the skills of Birmingham City Council’s highly successful team combine to create a stunning and memorable display.
