Each year since 1998, Suzanne Gaywood has taken inspiration from her annual visit to Grenada and the island’s beaches, forests and gardens to create a variety of displays for Chelsea that showcase the pungent spices and vibrant blooms of her homeland. Her team’s efforts have been rewarded with nine RHS Gold Medals at the show.
In 2012, Suzanne has created a tropical paradise for visitors to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to enjoy. She says “Heliconias, gingers, musas, anthuriums, orchids and other rainforest plants will adorn, almost smother, our rustic circular pavilion in an explosion of colour and scent”.
