This display has a tropical rainforest theme with a number of tropical plants used to complement the collection of bromeliads and for visual impact. The emphasis is on tillandsia (airplants) and neoregelia; however, other bromeliads are also used to illustrate the great diversity of species found within the bromeliad family and their varied growing habits. Many of the plants used in the display are in flower, with as wide a range as possible of colour and form to illustrate the architectural beauty of the plants.
