Raymond Evison’s display of clematis cultivars features a living tunnel furnished with flowering clematis plants that opens into an octagonally-shaped central room. At the centre of the octagon is a large urn furnished with a cascade of clematis plants that reach to the top of the structure. Outside the tunnel and set into the turf are planted clematis borders, which feature four shallow cast iron urns set on steel pedestals.
New cultivars being displayed this year include Clematis Zara (‘Evipo062’) , Clematis Alaina (‘Evipo 056’) and Clematis Countess of Wessex (‘Evipo073’).
