A sundial is not just a garden ornament; it is the culmination of more than 3,000 years of man's questing to unravel the mysteries of the forces that govern our world. A Macmillan Hunter bespoke sundial is both a precision instrument and a work of contemporary sculpture. Seven strikingly individual Macmillan Hunter sundial designs are on show at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year, including horizontal and vertical sundials such as Earthdial and Orbit, and Orbdial, a new and original universal dial that may be the first of its kind ever designed for the garden.
