‘Nido’ is design concept from Milan exclusively for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Nido is manufactured by Mediterranean Ceramics. The concept revolves around four segments; the Nido Wall, Nido Objects, table tops and Nido Projects. The Nido Wall is aimed at pleasing all the senses whilst occupying the least space. The Wall is a versatile design that can be adapted to the available space and likes/tastes. Mediterranean Ceramics will also feature hand-painted table tops made of volcanic stone (which makes them resistant to extreme temperatures). A table produced at Mediterranean Ceramics, featuring the Maltese Cross, was presented to Her Majesty the Queen in 2005. A reproduction of this table top will be featured at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
