Juxtaposition
This garden explores the relationship between contrasting textures that can be found in the equatorial region.
On one side the design features a scene where plants have developed into strong architectural forms; on the other side, this is contrasted with large-leafed specimens from regions with humid conditions. This juxtaposition means that each of the planting schemes is enhanced and complemented by the other.
The screen through the centre of the garden allows for brief contact between the two sides of the design.
