Practical information

Show guides, shopping, food & drink and other useful facilities

The show & showground

No animals are admitted to the show, except for guide and assistance dogs. Please note that pet dogs are not permitted in any of our showgrounds. Please do not leave dogs unattended in parked cars.

Please note that this is a temporary, outdoor event on open parkland and is subject to varying weather and ground conditions. Although some temporary trackway is laid, much of the event is staged on open ground and care must be taken. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. In extreme weather conditions, access may be restricted in the interest of safety.

Visitors may be subject to security searches.

Show guides

Show guides are available free of charge at the show on the day. We ask that you return any unwanted guides when you leave so that we can recycle them for the use of other visitors.

Shopping

Please note that Wales has a 5p charge for carrier bags which will be applied at the show.

Food & drink

There is a wide variety of catering options at the show, with a dedicated food court featuring several local food producers and a bar with ample seating. You can also pick up tea, coffee or an ice-cream from stands around the showground or enjoy the delights on offer at the Farmers’ Market.

Facilities

There is a Thomas Cook Bank where you can withdraw cash over the counter or via an ATM. Please note there is a charge for this service.

There is a plant & product crèche available at the show near the main entrance where you can leave your purchases during your visit.
